NORWALK — According to the Department of Labor, the General Electric Digital Unit is cutting 80 jobs in January.
The Department of Labor said the layoffs will begin on January 30, 2018.
The layoffs will take place in the GE Digital division which is based in Norwalk.
General Electric broke ground in May on its new headquarters at the former NECCO candy factory in Boston.
